Back on the 4th of this month I had the good fortune of hearing Koop and Jazzanova spin records at club 5, for Abstract Motion. Very nice sets, especially from the dude from Koop. He spun lots of Jazz, especially Hard Bop and Latin stuff, as well as some great house tunes. Very impressive, and it was very cool to hear this music in a club environment. Not a lot of dancing early on, but later the floor was moving. The Jazzanova guys played some Hip Hop and their own stuff before going into some fine floor filling House. I enjoyed myself.
